Aberdeen, The Granite City

This is a recollection of how I shot Scotland's third largest city, Aberdeen, on a blustery day in February. There were plenty of interesting sights even if the sun wasn't as sunny as I hoped it to be. Check out its lovely granite architecture!

This was my first visit to Aberdeen. It’s a lovely place full of very grand granite architecture that sparkles in the sun. It wasn’t the sunniest day but there was still lots to take photos of. We visited the Art Gallery, the Maritime Museum and Union Terrace Gardens which is facing closure because someone wants to build a shopping centre on top. I hope that doesn’t happen.
