Feel the nature - Nam Sang Wai

Its beauty is natural rather than grandiose. There isn't unbelievable hills or breathtaking landscape, but this is just a piece of simple and untouched land full of flowers and trees. Happiness can be so simple.

Nam Sang Wai is a wetland area to the north of Yuen Long, surrounded by the Kam Tin River from the east, and Shan Pui River from the west.

Nam Sang Wai is famous for being the previous playground of the wild crocodile Pui Pui or if you haven’t heard of her, you must have seen movies, TV dramas or music videos that were filmed here. First reaction of most people must be “What? It’s Hong Kong?”

I love this place, this is a peaceful and elegant garden. Its beauty is natural rather than grandiose. There isn’t unbelievable hills or breathtaking landscape, but this is just a piece of simple and untouched land full of flowers and trees. Happiness can be so simple.

Once I had to enter Nam Sang Wai via the river route on a small boat, I felt like entering a dreamland, forgetting I was in Hong Kong.

There are several special spots in Nam Sang Wai. The vast grass field is the favorite for dog walkers and model jet plane lovers (who fly their planes in the open space), always full of laughters there. The famous abandoned worn-out little house is a must for all photographers. The wooden port is the best spot to relax and enjoy the landscape. My personal favorites must be those broken tree branches, which can be used as teeter boards. And I will bring my own bicycle in my next trip to this park, that’s a plan!

Let’s bring your lover, family and friends and spend a nice day in this beautiful park!
