Malaysia's Little Rice Bowl

Sekinchan, literally means "village suitable for plantation" in Chinese. It lives up to its name as it contributes to rice plantation in the state of Selangor. Apart from the scenic greenish paddy fields, Sekinchan, being situated by the sea, which serves fresh seafoods at the restaurants along the main road, has attracted many of the local Malaysian people to this small town.

Upon the harvesting month, the green paddy fields turn yellowish and this creates another breathtaking view of this beautiful little town. Unfortunately for my last visit there, we didn’t have a good weather. It was a rainy Sunday.

Nevertheless, we still had fun. It’s the company that matters, always. :)

And surprisingly I had some interesting lightleaks for my Fisheye photos that were loaded by expired films.

I also saw the lady’s finger plant for the first time. Its flower is of faded yellow, very pleasant looking flowers. :)
