Kirkstall Abbey is a ruined Cistercian monastery in Kirkstall north-west of Leeds city centre in West Yorkshire and one of my favorite places to take my holga 135bc.

Situated on the River Aire in the outskirts of Leeds, Kirkstall Abbey is a beautiful monastery with some of the best preserved Cistercian ruins in England. As well as the ruins there is a museum, the river and lovely walks around the abbey.

The first roll of film that I took once I got my Holga 135bc was around the abbey and although a lot of the photos didn’t turn out well, it has been one of my favorite places to take photos of ever since.
