Get ready for some straight out of the edge, breath taking views, from a wonderful cave in the depth of Puerto Rico.
Known by the locals as “Cueva Ventana”, this cave is part of the many wonders of Puerto Rico. Located between the towns of Arecibo and Utuado, on a small path which can only be reached by a 20 minute walk on foot. So get yourself ready for some incredible views.
During the walk you’ll be able to identify a variety of tree species. Reaching the entrance of the cave, it’s downhill limestone from here, so have a flashlight ready, since you’ll be in total darkness, and stay close to the ground so you won’t slip.
In less than 2 minutes walking inside the actual cave, you will arrive at the window [edge] of the cave where you’ll find the most dazzling view and understand the name of the cave. It is believed that a long time ago this cave was actually a waterfall dropping into the river “Río Grande” in Arecibo.
Try not to disturb the bats, and be careful not to fall though, because it’s a 200 and some feet drop from there.

Really nice green stuff there. The cave looks nice as well, but the outside triggers me the most. Good shots.
