Ferry To Don Sak

Need a transport from Island Ko Samui /Thailand/ to mainland?

No problem. Take a ferry from city Ang Thong to Don Sak. Many tourist uses it to reach Surak Thani airport. Its a cheap and funny trip. Takes 2 hours, Costs 150 BTH /3euro/. On the deck you can eat some sweets and snacks, drink or play inside huge red turtle which looks like from bad scary movie, or just enjoy beautiful see views.

Thailand’s Island Koh Samui, is very famous for its night life and spectacular beaches. There are several beaches from noisy and busy to quite and romantic. If you do not fly by the aircraft here, try more adventurous trip by ferry from the small town Surat Thani to the capital on the island Na Thon.

You can travel by night’s ship – where there are on the deck big mattress for sleeping, or try faster daily ferry. It’s a combination bus and boat transport and you will travel with local people and you can enjoy not only a pleasant sea voyage

Journey from the island to the airport Surat Thani including all fees costs about 350 Bath and takes about 5 hours and it’s quite a pleasant experience.
