National University of Singapore, Kent Ridge Campus

One of three major universities in Singapore, National University of Singapore enjoys the reputation as one of the best in the region. With many buildings, new and old, forming this campus, many sights to capture! From the hidden nooks and hideouts to student hubs and bustling bazaars, lomographers have plenty of stuff to shoot!

Situated on Kent Ridge, the National University of Singapore is often dubbed “National University of Stairs” by long suffering students. Built around this maze of staircases, students go about their activities.

With great emphasis on arts and culture, many art pieces deck the hallways of many offices, mostly the pieces done by students in NUS who incidentally do not have a fine arts department. Installation pieces by renowned alumnus can be found in major buildings such as the spanking new University Hall and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

Soak in the energy of the place by browsing at the Central Forum bazaars organised by students, selling everything from clothes to cameras. Even better, live music plays almost every night at the house bar, Munchie Monkeys. Watch local band plays great music while chatting with friends, certainly the best way to spend after a long day. =)
