In the middle of a rather snowy Denmark (well sometimes its not snowy) is a little piece of eastern culture. Bazar Vest is a Turkish market, but it's more than that, it's a mini Turkey.
We are a lot in the house, minimum there are 7 of us, the men eat a lot which means we need to buy a lot. The Bazar offers not only an incredible quantity of food but a fantastic variety of food as well. The price is good, it is certainly more reasonable that a supermarket and if you are a frequent shopper, like we are, most of the vendors will give you some sort of discount.
The place isn’t just groceries there are restaurants too serving all kind of lovely stuff. There is a good atmosphere at the bazar and Johanne and I often have fun with the vendor and speak the little Turkish we know. It can get very busy in the bazar and the isles are not wide so it can get a bit claustraphobic so if you are wanting to do some serious shopping maybe try and go at a quiet time – during the week if you want more of an experience go at the weekend!
