A great location in Los Angeles and a really big modern space. My film is expired and got x-ray zapped, so here are the shots for better or worse.
Just got back from California and now uploading youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UulSSt87PaI and still photographs from the opening party at Lomography Los Angeles. We (alpacaangel and blue-dog) met lots of people and few fellow lomographers, satomi, cheeso and a cute and sweet girl who I have pictured here (forgot her lomo name) with friends who said she was just now introducing her friends (also pictured) to Lomography. And we helped to spread the good word about the Lomography society and how to join and even helped to sell a few cameras. We even gave a short, mini interview about how lomography is for “…fun, non pretentious fun..” to Karen Maze of the Los Angeles examiner.com. http://www.examiner.com/x-32818-LA-Neighborhood-Photography-Examiner~y2010m2d19-Lomography-Gallery-Store-LA-Opening-Night We showed off our mini diana’s and how alpacaangel modified them so not to lose the lens cap. We ate some really great Tacos Camarones and had something nice to drink. And the Mariachi Band was great and endured graciously, lots of picture taking. We had a great time and congratulations to all at the new Lomography Gallery Store
