We've finally hit the 3000 LomoLocations mark but I'm sure some of you are wondering what are the top 10 ones according to overall popularity? We crunched the numbers and here they are!

From the neighborhood coffee shop that serves the best homemade pie to each of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World, our Locations sure has come a long way! Over the past few years, we’ve amassed quite a number of Lomolocation submissions from you guys and we always want more! So far, we’ve got 3000 unique locations, each detailing different quirks from different locales. But amidst these sea of submissions, one might wonder which are the best ones of the bunch. Well, we wracked our brains, crunched our numbers and blindfolded ourselves to bring you the Top Ten Locations! Keep in mind though, these aren’t in any order and our criterion for choosing was based total comments, likes, and the overall popularity in general of the post. Enjoy!

Fiolent – Our Secret Beach – Secret and beaches are two things that always go well together as lomovan shows us. You will marvel at Fiolent’s heavenly turquoise tinted water that amazes and captures your imagination.

Himba Village Ancient Living – A visit to Himba Village in Namibia is a journey in self discovery. Join disdis as she recounts her experience among the local women, who are famous for covering themselves with a mixture of butter fat, ochre, and herbs to protect themselves from the sun

Patagonia, Argentina – This unspoiled resource remains so for a reason. With numerous hikes and river crossings required, visiting Patagonia is not for the faint of heart. Once you get past the obstacles though, as dannyfresh did, you’ll be faced with nothing but sheer beauty!

The Petting Zoo – With every domesticated animal that you could think of, hanspan’s trip to a Petting Zoo in the UK elicited lots of chuckles and dozens of laughs. Yes, you simply can’t go wrong with pig racing!

Lomos in the Arcticstouf and his Lomo cameras have boldly gone where no other Lomographer has gone before. His chronicles of his Arctic travels have reached a legendary status in the community. Find out why!

Huahine Island – If you want to get away from it all to experience and enjoy the wonders of nature, try to pay a visit to Huahine Island located in French Polynesia. It’s sure to be a long trip, but vicuna assures you that the trip will be well worth it, with its fine, crystalline sand and pristine waters.

Avenue of the Baobabs, Madagascar – Reaching for the sky, the Baobabs of Madagascar defies convention. These towering trees live close to a thousand years, bearing witness to the rise and fall of generations. a-l-b-e-r-t-o- here gives us a virtual tour of the ‘Roots of the Sky’.

Puraran Beach – Join zoe191 in exploring Puraran Beach in the Philippines which is making waves in the surfing world with its long-barrel waves, known as “The Majestics". Not to keen on trying out surfing? Then just bask on the beach and try to get the best tan!

Batalha Monastery – Marvel at the gothic architectural genius behind the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória or simply the Batalha Monastery. Build way back in 1517, holds an unbelievably rich amount of Portugal’s history. Check out zulupt’s visit to the Monastery, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Blagoveschenskaya Village – With literally hundreds of things to offer to tourists, Blagoveschenskaya Village in Russia is the perfect relaxation destination if ever you are in the area. life_on_mars recommends water sports as well as healing spas!

It's an honour being in the same list as all those beautiful locations! And many others out there! I think this is the best feature in Lomography. See the world through other's lens.

Just one thing: Ron, I'm a man. I don't care a lot as Vasvas (my wife) is part of the story and it could been told by her as she was who talked more to the Himba children and women.

And as disdis I feel very proud to be in the selection... But as always, I feel a bit too lucky... This place was so incredible... Anyone could have brought crazy shots from there... But still, thanks !
