Need a little get away? Don't feel like flying or driving 5 hours to get there? Want to plan a day trip? Well I know just the place... apple country is just a click away!

Apples, apples, apples!!! Do you like apples? Well if you do, have I got a place in mind for you! Located in the hills just above Yucaipa , California is the little town of Oak Glen, a place where all your apple dreams will come true!

Not officially its own town, Oak Glen is actually a part of the city of Yucaipa, but everyone in this small area thinks of it as a place all its own, and most definitely one of a kind! With only one road that twists and winds through the little town, just driving through all the pine trees and apple trees is an adventure in itself. But why stay in the car? Along this winding road are turn outs with shops, pony rides, a petting zoo, and all the apple picking you can handle.

Spending a day in the mountains is easy, but with all the extra things and home town charm Oak Glen has to offer, camping for the weekend is even easier. And if camping is what you came for, the town makes it easy by providing a full camp ground right in the center of the main town, just across the way from the Laws Cafe, where they have been serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner… and not to mention hot apple pie since 1953.

But if it is just a day trip you are after, Oak Glen is only one hour east of Los Angeles, taking you just far enough out of the city to put your mind at ease, and help you forget your troubles, and put your worries behind you!

So whether it is apple cider, apple juice, apple pie, apple butter, apple crisp, apple bread, apple cheese, caramel apples, candied apples… whatever you crave, Oak Glen has got it! Welcome to apple country, boys.
