A previous grassland, now a bustling night spot. Check out the UP Ayala Land Technohub.
When the University of the Philippines first decided to make use of its idle land in Philcoa so that it can bring in resources into the system, it was met with strong opposition. That was in 1997.
Around ten years later, this effort finally came into fruition with the establishment of the UP Ayala Land Techno Hub. Now it is a place for business process organizations for them to do their business. At the same time, it became a new haven for night people to eat, drink and have conversations. An active fountain dominates the center that acts as its main attraction for kids and not so kids alike.
We checked out Kanin Club, a Filipino Restaurant that serves Pinoy food with a twist. Check out their specialties, sinigang na sinangag (sour brothed pork flavored fried rice), sinangag na tinapa (smoked fish flavored fried rice) and their main fare, crispy dinuguan and seafoods kare-kare (seafoods in peanut sauce). Yum just writing this entry makes my mouth water. You should check it out.
