Lovely Beaubourg Centre shot with Diana-mini.
Centre Georges Pompidou (aka Beaubourg) is really a must see in Paris!
Built between the 19971-1977, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano and the British architect couple Richard and Sue Rogers, Beaubourg is a complex located in the area of IVe arrondissement of Paris, between les Halles and the Marais.
It houses a vast public Library, the Musée National d’Art Moderne, a movie center, exhibition halls, an up-to-date and expensive restaurant at the top, and IRCAM, a centre for music and acoustic research.
All of the main mechanical systems are consciously place on the outside with the escalators in clear plastic tunnels.
Many Parisians were shocked when it was first etablished, they called it an ugly oil raffinery.
The Plaza in the of the building remains a very animated area, with its junglers, mines and humorist from all over Europe continuously attracting a crowd.
It’s one of my favorite places in Paris.

I went there ten years ago. My favorite part was a man outside who was playing cast-iron pots like a drumset, with a banana for a cymbal. I hope he's still there...
