The Lagoon of Burano, Tuscany - Italy

Not by accident this zone of the Burano Lake was one of the first to be protected under laws of protection of natural beauty. Take a ride, you will not regret...

The Lake of Burano is a salt-water lagoon on the coast, which provides a habitat to a number of different animals including numerous aquatic birds. Everything is wonderful: sunflower fields, the beauty of the landscape, the magnificent Mediterranean brushwood, the soft colors of the rush and of canes, to the great flocks of aquatic birds.

The beach is visited all year long: on the sand splashed by the slatinness rare plants of every type succeed, to form pictures of the Tuscan brush. Like those who go to Florence must see the Uffizi or those who go to Rome can’t miss the Sistine Chapel, those who have the fortune of landing in the Argentario zone can’t miss the occasion to stroll through Burano.

With the winter sun or with the sky full of clouds a stroll between the welcoming arms of the Mediterranean brushwood, it is a very pleasant experience of small discoveries and patient observations. Summer is great but November is one of the best months: don’t miss it!
