Gleneden Beach, Oregon Coast

On the west coast of the U.S. it is hard to beat the Oregon Coast – what a dream!

The Coastline in Oregon is a true treasure to all Oregonians, it can be calm and peaceful, wicked and turbulent – sometimes in the span of hours. I absolutely love all parts of the Oregon Coast, but while having a small amount of time with the LC-A+ I thought it was only proper to show the camera one of my favorite little treasures on the north-central coastline – Gleneden Beach, OR.

Gleneden is a very small community located between the more popular tourist destinations of Depot Bay and Lincoln City. Most people probably don’t even notice that they have passed through Gleneden and I must say “what a shame”. This beach is quite expansive and most often you are the only one strolling down the miles of sand and waves. This is rare for the Oregon Coast and one I’m having a hard time sharing….but really it is an excellent place to LOMO. The only visitors you will encounter are seagulls and foamy waters – you can relax or play – you have the whole place to yourself.
