PETCO Park is home to the San Diego Padres baseball team.
The San Diego Padres baseball team has a relatively new stadium, built in 2004, in the middle of downtown San Diego. The stadium offers beautiful views of the surrounding buildings and fantastic views of the game no matter where you sit. Upon visiting the PETCO Park you are greeted by friendly attendants who are more that willing to tell you about the many features the stadium has to offer. Among them are : a full service bar with a balcony that overlooks the field, a San Diego Padres “Hall of Fame”, and an area just beyond the left field fence that allows you to stand and watch the game at field level.
Another unique feature to the stadium is the picnic area beyond center field. Here you can hang out on a grassy area with your family and friends and enjoy the game.
My recommendation for your visit to PETCO Park, would be to enjoy a drink at one of the many bars that surround the stadium before the game, then head into stadium at game time, and finish the night with a trip back to the bar scene to party until you can’t party anymore.
