Krasnodar – the capital of the Kuban: administrative and cultural center of Krasnodar Region
The city has an advantageous economic and geographical situation in the North Caucasus economic region, is located on the major highways linking the center of Russia to the ports of the Black and Azov seas, as well as the resorts of the Black Sea coast. In south-eastern part is located Kuban Krasnodar Reservoir, built in 1973 to ensure that the production and reclamation activities.
Krasnodar is a major transport hub in southern Russia. Its territory is crossed by four lines of railways, two-lane federal highways, there is an airport and river cargo port. From the airport fly to 32 cities of Russia, in 5 capitals of the CIS, in 6 foreign countries.
Krasnodar is beautiful at any time of year. Wonderful view opens onto the main Red street , where on weekends and holidays are sent to all residents of the city, wherever you look everywhere familiar, cheerful person. Most beautiful view is the embankment of the river Kuban. Here, not far from downtown, the river relax and entertain residents of Krasnodar. Here and a new water park and a corner of nature, and sports complex. Pleasant walk along the old streets of Krasnodar – they still keep the spirit of the old town, a bit provincial – but such a comfortable and prosperous.
