Pickwick Pub is an attempt to make authentic English pub on Neva’s banks. It’s a second pub supported by Dickens pub team and situated on Ryleeva Street, 6 (not far from Chernyshevskya Metro station). Well, if you want to feel true atmosphere of good old England it’s a best place for it (of course with Dickens pub too).
It has several rooms: non-smoking area and place for smokers, room with big LCD panel (for sport fans), and a lengthy cozy bar stand. Its gents toilet has a nice and in useful feature in certain circumstances – soft shoring for head …Not bad if you’re drunk enough. Pleasant light is flowing from old-fashioned brass lamps. Red darkish walls are like old train compartment with some touch of ribbing. I also checked darts and some illustrations from comic adventures of esquire Samuel Pickwick on it.
There’re several sorts of ales and stouts: Bass, London Pride, Caffrey’s, Manchester Brown Ale, Bowman. For girls would better refreshing Hoogarden and Belgian Kierk with cherry taste. Cuisine is pretty various. You can order full English breakfast till 5 p.m. or fish and chips, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, or even shashlik in later time. If this place doesn’t satisfied another option is available – you can explore nearby pubs like Foggy Dew, Bulldog or Templet Bar.
