Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasures Mini Golf and Maze

What can I say; it’s mini golf, right? Well, it’s also a history lesson built into the golf course about a local man named Professor Hacker. Apparently, he was involved with the Declaration of Independence but was hiding from the British so he decided to go prospecting for gold in the mountains of Pennsylvania. And somehow after finding a famous cannon somewhere, he got involved with a pirate ship thing (the story is actually pretty detailed to remember it all, so I’ll leave it up to you to read, explore and play the course).

Anyways, based on Professor Hacker’s experiences, the mini golf is divided up into two different courses to play: 1. The Lost Treasure Pirate Ship Adventure. And 2. Mountain Gold Mine Adventure. Both of the golf course layouts are intertwined together. For example, the waterfall from the mountain of the 2nd course feeds the bay with water where the pirate ship is docked on the 1st course. The time we went for the LC-A Race, we decided to take the pirate ship course because it seemed more colorful for picture taking. I think this course is pretty hard or I’m just terrible because of all the 18 holes, I didn’t get a single hole-in-one! Seriously, how hard can it be!

Also located here is a giant maze you can go through. It’s $4 dollars to go through after you play a round of golf and the way it works is simple: a card is given to you, you punch your start time, run through the maze and collect the four different punches throughout the maze and finally you punch your end time. You can try to beat your own time or come with friends and race each other (as you’ve probably noticed from my go-karts location, I LOVE to race!)
This location is pretty unique, being that its mini golf, and history lesson and a maze all in one. I mean where else can you find this combination other than in Lancaster, PA.
