Selamat Datang is a Malay word and carries the meaning “Welcome”. Originated from ancient Royal dance, the name "Cinta Sayang is a combination of the word “Love & Affection”. The slogan “Love and Affection is the way of life” is synonymous with Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Resort’s name.

Access from Kuala Lumpur to Sungai Petani is just 4½ hours away via the North-South Highway, with a turnout at Exit 124, Sungai Petani (North).
