Gare do Oriente it's probably the most important transport hub in Lisbon and it was designed by Santiago Calatrava, a spanish well-known architect.
It was built for the Expo98 event and nowadays it is used by thousands of people everyday. At Gare do Oriente you can find BUS, train and metropolitan which makes this spot a reference in the city. You can also go to Vasco da Gama Shopping Center, take a walk or have a nice meal in one of the many restaurants in the area. Some large companies like Vodafone, Novabase and Sonae are also based here which makes it a privileged zone to work or establish a business.
Every minute you have a bunch of new people crossing the street, answering the phone or taking a cab … or if you prefer … every minute you have a new opportunity to take one more shot. Definitely it’s a place that you should … and must visit if you come to Lisbon.

Diana Cameras Saved from Burning House Last weekend, I was waiting for my ice cream, reading a free Portuguese magazine called DIF when I spotted, not one, but two Diana cameras on its pages. And it turned out they had been rescued from an house on fire, or at least they would have, if there had actually been a fire. Learn about the Burning House Project and the astounding amount of cameras that it rescues.
