Baltimore Go-Karts

Do the crazy drivers you encounter on the highway increase your blood pressure? If so, just blow off some steam at the Baltimore Go-Karts! It’s not only fun and trilling driving these miniature versions of race cars, but it’s also a therapeutic release from those morning/afternoon weekday rush hours.

They are located off of a major artery in Baltimore (Interstate 95) and just northeast off the beltway that surrounds the city. The price to ride are a little on the expensive side considering that the tracks are quite simple, but the fun you’ll have riding totally over compensates for that. They offer three tracks to choose from, 2 adult ones and 1 kiddie one. The slick track is an adult one, it’s that’s my FAVORITE! The workers there actually pour some water on the track while you’re driving to give it that extra slickness. I love to go with a group of friends because the more people on the track, the more competition you’ll have for racing or the more times you’ll “accidentally” bump into each other. I also like to go on Sunday nights because there are hardly any lines and you can ride back to back if you please. I knew I was going at night so I loaded the LC-A up with 800iso film but what I didn’t realize is that taking pictures while driving go-karts is actually quite difficult! Ha ha, we still had a blast and I hope the next time you get frustrated from horrible drivers, stop by your local go-kart place, trust me, you’ll LOVE IT!
