There is always so charming with bridges. The mix of sturdiness and grace. The beauty of symmetry. The melancholia at sunset.
I have been lucky enough to be in the same city as the ever famous Brooklyn Bridge. The skyline view is just phenomenal and the romantic panorama just seizes you. It blew me over that much that I walked its entire length, not just once, not twice but three times in my two years here in the Big Apple (and to think most New Yorkers have never even done as much as step on it, and no, driving does not count).
They say Brooklyn Bridge is the only place on earth where an airplane could fly over a pedestrian who was walking over a car that was driving over a boat that was over a train. How quaint is that?
So when in New York (or heck, even in whichever city you are now), don’t just bypass bridges. Besides the breathtaking scenery and rich history, they make good subjects whichever angle you shoot them at.
