The bar is an excellent place to have a drink with other travellers night or day. You can also order Shishsas (best on Cenang beach apparently) and beers from RM4 onwards on the beach till 12am.
If you’re not the one who loves loud music and crowded places, you can try Babylon Mat Lounge, it’s more or less like a reggae bar. Run by people who look like they might have ended up as real-estate agents today if Bob Marley had not entered their lives. Cool one! There is a live jam nightly with musicians on guitar and conga drums. Situated on the Cenang Beach itself, it’s a great place as you can have a good time with your friends, listening to music by the live band and the waves from the beach. It’s very relaxing, I can even sleep there anytime, with the beach breeze running through my hair. It’s very relaxing!
