MacRitchie Reservoir Park one of the few reservoir park that is found in Singapore. The park is spread across 12 hectares and is a favorite spot for joggers and those that enjoy outdoor activities. Besides jogging, the park is a popular spot for water activities such as kayaking and canoeing.

The boardwalks are popular among joggers as it circles the scenic reservoir and is connected to walking trails thought the secondary forest. I was there early one weekend for some early exercise but was clearly distracted by the beauty of the park. I did not regret lugging the heavy Horizon 202 and my Nikon F80 to capture my morning there.

This great park is easily accessible by public transport and it’s a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of town. It is a great location for photographers and lomographers alike.
