Hollywood Cemetery

Hollywood Cemetery has been open since 1849, and yes, many of the headstones date back that far! In 1869 a huge pyramid structure was erected as a monument to the 18,000 Confederate soldiers buried nearby. It also serves as the “final resting place of two American Presidents, six Virginia governors, two Supreme Court justices, twenty-two Confederate generals.” (www.hollywoodcemetery.org). Some of my favorite headstones are located off of Waterfront Drive, in a little semi-circle area. I wish I could remember whose grave it is, but they’ve got a beautiful angel sitting over them. The headstones themselves are works of art; each and every one of them is different and unique. You could walk through this maze of history for hours.

@majorted it was Kodak Ektachrome EPN 100. I've noticed that with this particular film, if you don't double expose it... the x-pro looks rather drab, but if you double it... it's FAB! Thanks guys! :)
