Gemia Island, Terengganu, Malaysia

Gemia Island best known as Gem Island, it redefines the meaning of island in my dictionary. The crystal clear water, with apparent visibility of fishes fooling around the coral grant you the ability to touch and feed them just from ankle level of sea water, the experience will turn you into a 3years old child again.

The friendliness of the management and staffs make you believe you have been back to your privately owned island. When you are in the room, you just can’t stop imagine this is your own sweet home with a balcony facing the sea. A hanging chair oversee the never ending sea, refreshing breeze with chilly cocktail in hand and the sound of sea water hitting on the shore just lure you to sleep with a smile plaster on your face.

Nothing is worth when we can’t share it but nothing matter anymore when you see your lover face like a 3years old child first time in a candy store, can’t stop flashing the killing smile to you day in day out.

The spa service is just too good to resist, your relaxation vacation would not be perfect without the massage, not to mention the terrific massage you will get in an amazing environment.

When the real life reality hit me, I just want to kick myself for not having a week long vacation instead taking 3days 2nights holiday.

This vacation delete off the word “stress” from my dictionary. It helps me to rejuvenate physically and emotionally. Peaceful start to recognize the road back to my mind and passion found my heart for the second time. I wish I will not leave the island so soon, if given the chance. Going back is not in my wish-list but in my to-do list.

Gem Island located at Terengganu, Malaysia. To reach there, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you can drive or take local flight to Kuala Terengganu. 45mins taxi drive from Kuala Terengganu airport to Marang Jetty and board 15mins speed boat to the island. Believe me, the island worth every hassles of changing different transportation.
