After a shopping fiesta at Hong Kong Times Square, your hands are so full of shopping bags and your legs are screaming. You know it’s time to have a rest. Cross the road in front and upstairs you go. Enter the door and be amazed with the rouge interior mixed with elements old and new. Walk left, sit down on the little chairs (by the window if you’re lucky) and rest. Ask for the menu, order something and be charmed by the cups and jars with the shop’s logos printed on them. If you feel like you are starving, there’s always food for serve.
Look out the window and observe the fast paces of Hong Kong happening down there. Shopaholics, taxis, tourists, running all over the streets you will see. After you have finished (and paid), all charged up for the night actions in HongKong, do take a stroll at the shelves. You may find a book you like. If you don’t read Chinese characters, no worries, you can still purchase some really cool stationary at the counter. I bought a folder with local artist Lo Koon Chiu’s painting on it and I still love it. I hope you will love this cafe and bookstore called People’s Recreation Community too.
