Have you ever been diving? No? Never? Oh, than i've got a perfect suggestion for you. Buy a ticket to Thailand and immediately come to Ko Tao. This small island will surprise you and here you will start the experience of your lifetime.
This little island is a diamond with its perfect beaches. But what it is really famous for are its snorkeling and diving spots. On the northern side of the island, just in the middle of Ko Tao and another treasure Ko Nangyuan is a place called White rock and this is where it all began. They just threw me in the water. No, no, I’m just kidding. They taught me first and than we started the trip. We snorkeled and dived all day long. The water was so clear and the fish were not afraid of anything. The corals were colorful and there was this intimidating silence when we were 12meters down in the water. If i could use one world to describe it it would be amazing. I felt like a fish, a little peaceful creature of the ocean.

I have worked there as Divemaster for several diveshops, at first glance it's nice, but the dive-industry has a big impact on the place. Some days more the 1000 divers and snorklers plunge at the place. Pollution is irrevesible, notice the white dots on corals, they are dying.
