Last week, I decided to travel to San Juan, La Union and to just chill out, surf, and take lots of pictures. Even though there were barely any waves, I convinced myself to just go out and practice paddling.
The locals were fun to talk to and accommodated the millions of questions I asked them from type of waves to paddling to creating boards! They give me tips and got me all excited to become better :P Everyone was willing to pose for my “funny-looking” camera — they were also very eager to take pictures with it themselves!
There are always a lot of people here during the weekend, especially on the months of October to February. Mornings are usually always sunny, the best time for those daylight films! :)
You can go to San Juan from Manila via NLEX, SCTEX (Tarlac Exit) and then MacArthur Highway. It takes around 5 hours to get there on light traffic.
