Lesson of the day - when in pain, do not shoot...
Pounding headache and all, I made my way to a cool little pub called Ol’ Skool Bistro one night for a rock gig. After getting through an entire day of paintball, I was on the verge of splitting my head apart to stop it from tormenting me further. But since my friend was kind enough to accompany me, I decided to put on a brave face and head down there.
LC-A, check. Fuji 1600 film, check. Wide-angle lens, check. Batteries and Colorsplash Flash, check and check. I had everything in place. Or so I thought. Anyway, after a few glasses of wine coolers and Brandy (odd combo I know, but I was having a bad sore throat too), I got into the swing of things and had a great time rocking out to 3 awesome bands, moving about a bit and taking pictures as well. I thought I was all that – fighting that bloody headache.
So, after stumbling out of the pub, I somehow managed to drive home in one piece. I fell flat on my bed. Ok, no, wait. I did wash up first. Heh! Anyway, I got up the next morning a little worse for wear. Once I got some breakfast in me, I decided to check my camera and see if everything’s intact. And then I see the horror of all horrors – I left my camera settings at 200. Aaarrgghhhh!!!!!
The pictures you see here are courtesy of my headache, sore throat and very tired body. Enjoy.
