I had short trip in Vientiane,Laos. Its not so far from Thailand,by plane from Suvarnabhumi Airport about 1 hours 15 minute. The other one, you can drive to across 1st Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge from Nong Khai to go there. Vientiane is a capital of Lao which a located opposite side Sri Chiangmai district of Thailand. Between Thai and Lao there are Mekong River to split territory. Mekong river very important to the everyday life of population couple country.In the great flood season its have a hight water level but in summer the river had shoal.

The children can romp on its. Because of Buddhist there are many temples in Vientiane. You can ride a bike to go around in Vientiane, its save you money than go with Skylab (tricycle) . Near Mekong river there are many restaurant wait for you for test. Sunset very beautiful here,provide a good place to see the sunset. Beer Lao very popular you should to taste and I like its too!!!
