The Market of Bolhão is one of the most emblematic markets of Oporto city, classified as Public Interesting Building since 2007. It is a neoclassic construction from 1914, year of it’s inauguration.
When I’m going to Porto’s Downtown it’s seems like compulsory passing in the Market of Bolhão. Why? Just it’s placed nearby the most covered street of Porto, Sta Catarina Street. As a market, Bolhão has four main sections: floral, fish, meat and vegetables zones. The marvelous thing it’s that all stores has a traditional air and the products are really fresh. Me and my dad always go there! Walking around with the LC-A camera, and as a participant of the LCA Race, I just couldn’t let pass the opportunity of lomo locate one of the ex-libris of Porto city.
