I’m sure by now you are more than aware of my addictions to carboot sales. I LOVE them and this is purely because im a nosey. What people value as worthless, useless or even just not to their taste anymore because it’s last years colour/pattern. For me however, what people don’t want is interesting.. as I probably want it!?

I usually love people’s junk, as vintage fashions can be picked up at bargain prices! I visit a few carboots each weekend and this requires getting up early to grab a bargain, and usually good light too! Following this I can usually be home in time for another cuppa before heading out with my mates who are late risers! Murton Livestock centre is the home of my most frequent haunt as t’s not even ½ mile from my house! So I guess it’s rude not to go! In bad weather stalls are placed within the animal pens – like more animals!!

With a mix of market stalls, traders and the usual household clearance you can find traditional farm produce and luscious fruit and veg all the way to average household “junk” The market elements and the carboot factor brings out regular faces every week, like myself! The atmosphere is fresh and the hustle of people going about their business keeps you on your toes hunting down that bargain! – I found a lot of my cameras there!!!

Don’t forget to pick up your crisp fresh vegetables for your tasty Sunday roast when you get home!!!!
