If summer sucks, get your KRAB and go out in the rain.
It is summer and, as I learned in school, July is the month with the most rain in Germany. This year I totally agree. That is not summer outside, it is cold and rainy and wet and uargh! So how to make great, bright, funny, sunny locations when it starts raining every hour?
Good thing about LC-A+ is that you can add the LomoKRAB. So I grabbed it and went out in the rain, hardly dressed and barefoot, jumped in puddles, shot the raindrops, the streets, the wind in the trees,.. Is it a location? “my corner in the rain”. I hope so, cause it was damn cold! And there are so many songs about rain I had to think of: Have you ever seen the rain? Purple Rain, Singing in the rain, The rain in Spain.
But what I like most are the neighbors looking out of their windows, staring as if I was totally crazy, not understanding why a man is jumping though puddles with a camera. Oh, and I set “under my umbrella”, “Think positive and make the best you can do” might be another name for my location.
