A chill-out, non-pretentious, retro looking (complete with retro furniture) cafe just for lomographers!
Roost Cafe is located in Johor Bahru, my neighbouring country. In fact, a short bus ride followed by a short walk is all it takes to reach Roost Cafe.
Roost Cafe is nestled amongst a row of shops in a town where people are friendly and genuine. The first thing you noticed are the rustic wooden doors splashed in bright colours. The next, how everything is vintage, old-school, and analogue! Furniture are from the 80s and everything just feels right. It’s almost like when you’re at home.
Oh, why do I say it’s a cafe for lomographers? Other than the fact that there are so many picture worthy artifacts lying around, there is also a Lomo-wall that I believe lomographers from Malaysia has put up. It also has a section for polaroids and instax!
Now that I have visited this wonderful cafe, I can’t wait to go back again!
