Broga Hill is located in a little old town called Broga on the borders of Negeri Sembilan and Selangor. It’s believed that the name Broga is derived from a mythical forest beast named Buragas (thanks Wiki). It’s a very quiet little town filled with fruit farms, temples and palm oil estates. Of course, one of these estates will lead us up to Broga Hill.
A whole bunch of us decided to sacrifice our precious sleep and make our way out there one fine Saturday morning. Some of made up the right hill while some of us went up a mosquito-infested hill on the other side of town. Hah! Well, the hike was interesting in the sense that none of us was expecting it to be that difficult. I was in jeans. Enough said.
We were just in time for a lovely sunrise and wasted no time clicking away, posing, laughing, jumping and erm, more posing. All that huffing and puffing up the hill was so worth the amazing scenery and the great time we had up there. We even met some lovely senior citizens who were just finishing their morning exercises and were making their way down. Respect!
It’s definitely a great place to check out and just chill. I am so going back that again one day. In proper attire, of course :p
