The river-boat station was founded in 1970 on the spot of Ozernaya quay. It is intended for passenger traffic and river cruising boats’ mooring. At the season’s peak river boats often make fast at the Utkina creek also. In summer you can see a great number of tourists who drive up to the river-boat station in big comfortable buses. Some of tourists immediately drop in at their boats, some of them take a slow walk along the wharf, waiting for the cruising boat departure and enjoying their free time. After departure the boat put out to river Neva up to the lake Ladozhskoe. There are plenty of interesting cruises including tours to Valaam, Sortavala, Kizhi, Petrozavodsk and others. And all of them begin at the river-boat station.
