This village in Las Piñas City was previously a housing project exclusively for employees of a government bank, Development Bank of the Philippines. Due to the fact that our parents were all colleagues, everyone knows every one. However, as the years go by, houses and lots inevitably were sold to other people. No matter how long or short we’ve all stayed, expect the warmth and friendliness of this neighborhood.

DBP is my refuge. It’s where my life started and where I spent my childhood days. It’s the place where I started to walk, began to speak, met my first friends and everything else is such a DBP memory. It is also where I figured fun life was all about laughter. Inside the village, we have a mini park to chill at, a chapel where we could always pray, courts for sporty activities such as inter village competitions and a playground where kids could go mingle. You get to meet the most hospitable neighbors who will treat you as family and of course, a very loving community that will be always be around. There’s no other place I would wish to stay. There’s no place like home.

Any day is a best day to cherish your childhood memories and capture them through lomography.
