There is a lot of beautiful bridges in Hungarian capitol Budapest. When i was a kid my parents take me for trip to Budapest. Now after many years I visited again this city and i returned back on this places i remembered a little. Best-known is surely Chain Bridge in Hungarian named Lánchíd. Situated near Hungarian Parliament with nice parc and waterfront. Looks for me like small copy of Brooklyn Bridge.
Built in 1849 was first permanent span across the Danube. Designed by English engineer William T. Clark. During end of World War II was partially destroyed but quickly rebuilt. There is charming place for walk round, in evenings, with fresh wind and beautiful view on Parliament, Waterfront or other Budapest bridges. Sometimes you can see here young lovers, sometimes homelessness…
