A new experience for the Marra Monkey. The wonderful and welcoming Danish people and an endless supply of Tuborg I'm a true Roskilde convert and will be back next year to do it all again.
Roskilde festival is the 4th largest festival in Europe with 70,000 people this year. Being a festival virgin I approached this with a very apprehensive mind as whether it would be for me, on walking through the gate at Midnight on Wednesday I was met by a campsite in full party mode and I was still unsure but…
It was time for me to man up and embrace the festival experience………… so after 5 days, Oasis, Coldplay, Elbow, Pete Dochety, Fleet Foxes, Friendly Fires, amazing old friends, 2 Lomos, splendid new friends, lack of sleep, rubbish toilets, glorious sunshine, the wonderful and welcoming Danish people and an endless supply of Tuborg I’m a true Roskilde convert and will be back next year to do it all again.
