Scorpio is an aqua park located nearby Guimarães. Inaugurated in the Summer of 2003 and extended in 2007.
It’s compose by two swimming pools (one for general use and other for babies), a space for thematic equipment (such as Guimarães castle and animals) and a 20m slide, with 6m high.
I went there for the first time a few weeks ago, because my girlfriend was looking for a place with water where she could relax. Even with a lot of affluence, it was quiet enough for spending the afternoon. Of course that I had to take my fisheye to record the moment! The swimming pool had three depth levels, what was amazing since we could go to the deeper zone where less people were. With 30 Celsius degrees, the Sun was kissing us for the perfect afternoon!
