The largest public arts and music festival in Baltimore (happens every summer).
Artscape is apparently, the largest free public art festival in the country according the event organizers. The artists come from all over the county to showcase their work , be it paintings, pottery, clothing, glass and metal work, car art, sculptures, and even interactive human art scenes. I took shots ranging from the 3-D paintings coming out of the canvas to crazy decorated cars: The Cars Of Artscape to the historic area it’s located in, Mt Royal. The festival also has three stages of musical and film performances featuring a variety of different musical groups.
This year CAKE played on the main stage for FREE!!! But if you’re not into CAKE, no worries; they also have many other musicians playing a variety of music ranging from jazz, blues, pop and even some blue grass. Whatever you’re into I’m sure Artscape will have something for everyone!

What an amazing event! And I love Cake! Shots 10 thru 13 especially amazed me. The colors starting at shot 15 are so perfect...some of the coolest purples I've ever seen. And 24 is a great double.
