Architecture in Tel Aviv

During all of my visits to Tel Aviv, I was always attracted by it’s architecture. The face of the city changes faster than you can imagine. New visit, new skyscrapers, hotels, apartment houses and corporate buildings! Sometimes the old houses get torn down to make place for new buildings, sometimes they get renovated and sometimes they just stay- well- ruins.

Architects and construction companies seem to give a s**t on what houses “have to look like.” You can see the most exciting, weird, futuristic, but nevertheless beautiful buildings just by strolling through the streets.

Even the ruins serve a new purpose during the short while till they vanish. They are used as party places, storage houses or as the youth’s canvas for new street art (graffitis, paintings, stencils,…)

I know that Tel Aviv is famous for other things, the beach, the parties, the clubs. But next time when you sober up and already got enough sun and sand on your red skin, take a walk with your head high and watch the architectural marbles of a ever-changing metropolis!
