The local square where you can quench your thirst and get a taste of Swedish suburbia...
This little square, situated in the residential area of Biskopsgården, along tram lines 5 and 6, provide local residents with a surprisingly broad range of services. You’ll be able to find groceries, fresh seafood, meat market, tobacco, electronics, clothing, second hand items and more, as well as a pharmacy, library, dentist and church.
Starting from the top of the square at the tram stop, the square levels down in three sections and ends with a small pavilion. In the middle section you’ll find the restaurant that, apart from providing the local drunks with alcohol, also serves nice meals at a reasonable price. Across from the restaurant, right next to the penny store, there’s a great coffee shop for that local flavor and neighborhood gossip.
One day a week the whole square turns into a market with bargain clothing and novelty items.
