White House campground is located along the White House Road, near the Paria ranger station in Page, Arizona. There is no water or electricity on this campground, but with the beauty of this place, you won’t even need any of that. During the day, there are not a lot of people around, so the solitude of the place offers incredible peace and it’s great if you just want to relax and meditate. The camping fee is only $ 5 and it’s a first come-first serve, self-service.

Camping is not the only fun thing to do in here. People can also hike around the confluence of the Paria River. The whole hike takes around 14 miles roundtrip. This hike requires water shoes because people need to cross the river. The water level is not very high, but it is smart to check the weather reports before visiting because the area is subject to flash flooding. If you decide to visit take plenty of food and water with you and of course your favorite camera. I personally love taking my LCA with me to this type of trips because of its small size. Also, don’t forget to check the beautiful slot canyons near the confluence of the river.
