Finished in 1998 for the Expo 98, this bridge is the second one crossing the river Tejo at Lisbon. It has 17 km (the longest in Europe) and it’s construction had some environmental concerns like the inclination of the lamp posts built this way so they don’t bother the flamingos and other animals.
Under the north part of the bridge, where the Expo 98 took place, you will find a great place to walk and do sports like skating at the skate park.
