Valle de Elqui in Serena, Chile

One of the more visited spots in Chile, observatories, great skyes, surrounded by big mountains, and for the kyte surf lovers puclaro in the middle of Cordillera de los Andes, and the place that gave birth to Gabriela Mistral.

Halfway to the north, there is Serena City, as you should know Cordillera de los Andes goes besides all of the country, so the main highway, goes along the plains either way south or north, well from Serena way to Cordillera de los Andes, there´s the valley called Valle de Elqui (Elqui Valley), (one of Elqui means is skinny in antique native tongue not Spanish, before conquest). is along way to the mountains, with a magic clear blue sky, y full of grape vine (don`t know the specific english term for “viñedo”), being it´s principal town Vicuña, this place is surrounded by observatories, being known for the clear skyes, is a perfect place for take your backpack and your camera an go hunting the ligth in this valley….
