Armentia Forest (A Place to Get Lost on Sundays)

Since 1998, the council of Vitoria included this forest in the Green Ring of the city. The Green Ring means that all the city is rounded by green parks and places to go biking, walking, running and picnic areas. The Armentia forest is an ecologic area between the urban city and the mountains. It has 5 kms of tracks and paths and is located in the southeast of the city. You can also fin open fields, picnic areas and leisure spaces.

The are different kinds of people that go there. First of all, it’s a nice place to go running. Some marathon men usually train here. On the other side you can find old people walking and looking for berries. It’s also a good place for lovers when they don’t have any other place to do what they want to do, and finally, on sundays, it’s full of people that move all the kitchen to the picnic areas for a leisure weekend. So, you have plenty of things to shoot and a lot of kinds of tries and birds.
