Hyde Park Skatepark

A concrete skate park with metal coping, situated near student ville just outside Leeds city center. It’s surrounded by the lovely Hyde park, student accommodation and handy corner shops. It has a chilled out atmosphere as it’s mostly older students that skate there. There is a few mini ramps, some flat banks and 2 fun boxes. A couple of ledges that are great fun too. Parking can be a bit hectic but I’ve heard that a number one bus from the station will get you there pretty easy. I personally enjoyed the mini ramp and the fact that the nearest shop also stocked some film, albeit cheap rubbishy stuff that i decided in the end not to buy.

If you feel the need to go to the toilet, just go behind a ramp, everyone else seems to have and it gives one end of the park a rather powerful aroma. Apart from that I will definitely be coming back again for more good skate times.
